Ironhold Legions
Ironhold Legions is a proper thinking game. You build up a fortress, manage a handful of resources, and send out squads while defending your own gates. The clever part is that map layout genuinely shapes your choices, so two players can reach the same objective in completely different ways.
Combat resolves in short, readable clashes, and the AI is smart enough to punish lazy positioning. I lost a couple of early skirmishes simply because I overextended, and the game let me feel exactly why. The pacing suits mobile: you can plan a move, lock the phone, and come back later without falling behind.
It's not the flashiest game in the catalogue, but the depth is real. If you like reading a map and building a plan two steps ahead, this one rewards you.
